March 24, 2026What an amazing cabin! As soon as you arrive you feel at home. The cabin is beautifully designed and its interior is spacious and well furnished. We had a family of four and couldn’t have had a better time. When at the cabin we had everything we could have needed and the kids loved the shuffle puck game! When we headed out to explore the nearby downtown did not disappoint. With tons of stores, cafes and restaurants there was plenty to do! We will definitely be back.

March 17, 2026Would stay again and again! Located on a private peaceful spot surrounded by beautiful trees and only 15 minutes to downtown and groceries. Cabin is clean, furnishings new, beds comfortable, everything marked for convenience and plenty of space . We loved the upstairs patio in the mornings and the large living room downstairs for movie nights. Highly recommend booking! One of the best we stayed in. Chris and Jessica are wonderful and responsive hosts!

February 16, 2026We had a great stay this past weekend. The home was exceptionally clean and had a very comfortable, homey feel that made it easy to relax right away. Everything was well maintained and exactly as described. The space was cozy and felt more like a home than a rental. Communication with the host was easy and responsive, and check-in/check-out were seamless. We’d definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

The Butcher & Bottle is a spectacular spot in Ellijay for an incredible meal. It’s a great date night spot with excellent food and a great wine selection. Emery Creek Falls Trail
This hike is just 20-25 mins away and is my favorite in the area. It’s definitely a longer day hike (6.2-mile out-and-back trail) and offers a challenging adventure that rewards hikers with the sight of two stunning waterfalls. Ott is a part of our favorite winery pairings. While Ott is an excellent Winery with great wines that stand on their own, it’s located right next door to Buckley (which is our favorite all around). We love the wine here. Chateau Meichtry feels like a classic old-school winery. While we like everything we’ve tried here, the standouts are the Lineage Red Blend (70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, and 10% Zinfandel, aged in French oak for 19 months) and the dry Riesling.

We both work remotely. Chris runs a marketing firm and is a luthier on the side, and Jessica is an executive director of a construction association and loves a good project. We’re proud parents to three adventurous boys. We truly believe the mountains offer a special kind of magic and hope our cabin provides you with the perfect setting to relax, explore, and make memories.
