HR Guide – Lighting The Basement Pilot Light
Here is a video demonstrating how to light the basement fireplace pilot light.
The logs should never be moved - if they were moved, it's very important they are arraigned properly before lighting the fireplace.
The Correct Fireplace Setup
Once lit, please ensure none of the flames burn the logs (they'll be running up the sides of the log). Fire burning the fake logs (or anything else thrown into the fireplace) could cause carbon monoxide poisoning and severely damage the fireplace.
